WELL DONE MICCI SABAH!

Our Sabah Chairman Datuk Seri Panglima Wong Khen Thau urged members to contribute and to participate directly and indirectly in the state’s COVID-19 Command Centre’s effort in easing financial burdens of both the State Government and small businesses in Sabah. The said contributions were to be channeled through the Sabah Chief Minister’s office for the purchasing of medical needs, setting up of quarantine centers and most importantly easing the burden of the government in providing the States’ Stimulus package of RM670 million.

MICCI Sabah presented a mock cheque of RM20,000 to the Sabah State COVID-19 Command Centre together with other members. MICCI members participating in the said fund raising and the mock cheque presentation are:-

a. Sawit Kinabalu Sdn Bhd amounted RM2,000,000;
b. Jetama Sdn Bhd/ Corporate Dynamics amounted RM100,000;
c. Sabah Ports Authority amounted RM200,000;
d. MICCI Sabah amounted RM20,000 as contribution from the following members:
• Sabah Development Bank Bhd RM5,000;
• Datuk Jaswant Singh Kler – Agri Cek Sdn Bhd RM5,000;
• Datuk Hajah Rosmawati Hj Lasuki, JP – (personal) RM3,000;
• Concept Marketing Sdn Bhd RM2,000;
• Kimanis Food Industries Sdn Bhd RM2,000;
• North Borneo Worldwide Express Sdn Bhd RM2,000; and
• Progressive Insurance Bhd RM1,000.
