[NEWS] Total Lockdown (MCO 3.0) Phase 1 extended until 28th June 2021

The Defence Minister Ismail Sabri has announced on 11th June 2021 that the total nationwide lockdown (MCO 3.0) Phase 1 period will be extended for another 2 weeks from 15th June 2021 to 28th June 2021.
This extension was made in light of the Covid-19 cases which have remained at more than 5,000 cases per day.
The decision was made according to the recommendations by the Health Ministry presented at the National Security Council (NSC) meeting chaired by Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
The standard operating procedures (SOP) will be the same as the one currently enforced during 1st June 2021 to 14th June 2021.
