[NEWS] Movement Control Order (MCO 3.0) Phase 1 Will Not End on 28th June 2021

The Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has announced on 27th June 2021 that the first phase of the nationwide lockdown will not end on 28th June 2021 as initially scheduled.
The first phase will continue until the daily Covid-19 cases reach below 4,000 cases daily.
The government will provide more information on either Monday or Tuesday.
In the event that Phase 1 of the lockdown succeeds in reducing the daily cases, the government will move on to Phase 2 which will allow some economic sectors to open up so long as physical distancing is practiced and there are no large gatherings.
The Prime Minister also stated that the decision to move from one phase to the next is made based on risk assessments by the Ministry of Health. Please refer to the second visual for more information.
