[MOH NEWS] Control and Prevention Measures in light of the new Omicron Variant in Malaysia

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has released two infographics regarding the control and prevention measures in light of the new Omicron Variant (B.1.1.529) in Malaysia as of 1st December 2021.
The first update is on the travel ban on 8 countries and the other is an update on the VLT Malaysia-Singapore travel.
Travellers from the following countries will not be allowed to enter Malaysia unless they are Malaysian citizens and are long term pass holders:

Botswana

Eswatini
-
Lesotho
-
Mozambique
-
Namibia
-
Zimbabwe
-
Malawi
MOH has also provided updates on the VLT Malaysia-Singapore air and land travellers. They must undergo COVID-19 self-test on Day 3 and Day 7 after arrival.
