MICCI Courtesy Visit To Deputy Minister Of Transport - YB Datuk Haji Hasbi Bin Haji Habibollah

On 5th April 2023, MICCI paid a courtesy visit to Deputy Minister of Transport, YB Datuk Haji Hasbi Bin Habibollah. The delegation was led by Dato’ Azman Shah Mohd Yusof, our National Vice President and also CEO of Northport (Malaysia), together with our Executive Director, Mr. Shaun Cheah.
The delegates that attended were Ms. See Mei Qi (See Song & Sons) Chairperson of our Maritime Stakeholders Consultative Council, Mr. Shukur (Schenker Logistic Malaysia. Sdn Bhd), and members of our Digital Economy Group (DEG), Mr. Leeroy Ting (CARSOME), Mr. Amri Sham (Foodpanda), Mr. Abhishek Menon (Lalamove) and Ms. Rita Irina (Shopee).
The DEG affirms its support for the government's efforts on the safety and well-being of the riders and as such we suggested the reactivation of the close engagements between the industry and the ministry to the formulation of policies. The DEG as a group is ready to be part of these engagements.
