On 14 January 2025, MICCI Northern attended MIDA Penang's 2025 Penang Investment Coordination Meeting.
This pivotal meeting provided a comprehensive update on Penang State’s current investment landscape and development initiatives for 2025. It also served as a strategic platform for MICCI to actively highlight and address key challenges faced by our members, including operational concerns and regulatory issues impacting businesses across various industries.
The engagement was further strengthened by the presence of key government agencies and stakeholders, including representatives from MITI, Invest Penang, TNB, Customs, MPC, and NCIA NCER. Their participation facilitated constructive discussions aimed at identifying practical solutions and fostering a more business-friendly environment in Penang.
